Avellana Gold supports initiatives aimed at community development and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people. One of the areas is permanent partnership with the all-Ukrainian project “Shoulder to Shoulder. All-Ukrainian School Leagues“, within the framework of which the company regularly acts as a sponsor of school sports competitions in the Berehove district of the Zakarpattia region.

Avellana Gold's support covers the organizational and material components of holding the competitions, and the creation of proper conditions for the participation of schoolchildren.

“Shoulder to Shoulder” is the largest-scale initiative in the field of school sports in Ukraine, combining physical activity with non-formal education and the development of soft skills.

In March 2025, in the Berehove district, on the basis of the "Zakarpattia" sports complex, the district stage of the competitions started with the support of the Head of the Berehove District State Administration Vitaliy Matiy. 105 teams with a total number of 1,085 participants will take part in the district competitions.

The competitions are held in such sports as volleyball, basketball, futsal, sport orienteering and cheerleading. In total, 9 sports are represented in the second season, and among them are new ones: handball, rugby and chess. In addition, in the 2024–2025 season the organizers expanded the age categories.

The competitions provide for several stages and are held at different levels. Participants must demonstrate not only physical training, but also the ability to work in a team, achieve common goals and take a responsible attitude to the result.

Avellana Gold plans further support for initiatives aimed at the development of the educational and sports environment in Ukraine, and at promoting sport as an important part of the harmonious development of young people.
